The gallery section is really lacking and we need new pics (interior (dark woods). Please post pics of newer models - gold mist, star black etc. There is nothing better than a real picture of an XLR (versus sales amterials)

Thanks!

Caly,

How do you get those big pics on a post? standby7@cox.net

I have Webshot on the web, so all I have to do is upload a few pictures to Webshot and use their web address. I think I got it.

Thanks
Bob

The picture must be on a website on the internet. The address of the image is then inserted between these commands: image address

Another way is to use the image insert symbol http://www.xlrforum.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif that appears on the page where you make posts.

Best regards,
Ed and Sandra

O well, no pictue but if you click on the link you can view a bunch of my pictures
Caly, what am I doing wrong? I clicked on the insert image picture and copied the address into it, but didn't get the picture I was on.

Wish you could be part of the jambaree at Bob's Big Boy. Will take lots of pics

Ah, to heck with the XLR, I want to know more about the Lightning. Is it stock or has it been "tuned" a bit? Pound for pound, one of the best vehicles I have ever owned - and I have been lucky enough to own two. I had a black 99 and a true blue 2002. The 02 model in stock trim would have roasted our XLR off the line and all the way to 140. After receiving an infusion of parts from JLP, it was an 11 second quarter miler that would (and still could) roast any of the "V" series vehicles. Nothing like rolling up to a stop light in a 5,000 lbs. truck and watch the guy in the 3,100 lbs Vette get a bit nervous!

The lightning is my sons car and is still factory. I agree this truck will smoke our cars. It is one of the quickest vehicles I've ever driven. I can't imagine how much quicker it could be with the mods.

VRJO,

Welcome to the XLR FORUM. Ask and someone will jump in and help you. This Forum is full of very good technical information and a bunch of great XRL owners with good advice.

Keep coming back and you won't be sorry.

Use the "search" function and you'll find several threads on posting photos. One good search word would be "PHOTO BUCKET".

Yep, open an account in Photobucket.com first, upload a reasonably sized picture and it's all downhill from there. I am sure you will find all the details in the forum.

Welcome to the XLR Forum.
