I would like advice as to wear to look for a selection of wheels. I'm looking for chrome and keeping the 18". I'm afraid with a larger size I will loose the ride and speed acuracy. :seeya

I wish I could tell you that I like the rims on the XLR but truth be known, as I was making my deal for my 04, that was the biggest issue. I disliked them so much I bought the 20" Foose stars off the dealers private vehicle. Everyone has said wheels make the car and if you look at my pics you will see that it does.[QUOTE=upstate]I have a set of XLR rims that were taken off shortly after delivery.

You need to get something to cover up those FUGLY brake calipers. They take away from the wheels.

I REALLY like Chip Foose"s stuff and May consider doing something with him on my next ride.

I am still #1 for the XLR-V here in Jacksonville and HOPING that Cadillac decides that Xenon Blue will be added to the color choices.

I wonder what the gas will cost after we "spank" the "V's" a few times a week during our travels.

Regards.

...but what does a few extra bucks of fuel matter when you're driving an $86K XLR-V. :confused

I would do a lot to the look of the brakes, calipers and exhaust if I wasn't waiting with baited breath for the V. If they don't dress up the calipers on the V I will take matters into my own hands. I forgot to tell you guys that I was told in BG that the tone is awsome on the exhaust so I don't know if I will do anything with my exhaust. I'll just take the exhaust plate off and put it on the V. Even though I'm putting Foose rims on the new V, I will keep the wheels so that I can bring it back to stock in the future.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_1_209.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414YYUS)then http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_5_11.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414YYUS) then http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_15_18.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414YYUS) thenhttp://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_6_7.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414YYUS)then http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/new/8_22/12_7_21.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414YYUS)the V
