Very cool. I'm surprised at the same time, though. I didn't think these cars had that big of a fan base yet.

logansowner 02-13-2003, 07:15 AM 99 cars in 14 minutes, is that a world record or a GM record?:cool Either way though:smash
Sal Collaziano 02-13-2003, 07:24 AM With the internet, this isn't so hard to believe.. It probably would have happened with the Allante if there were an internet like there is now, back then..

Yeah, the Allante was a hot item back in the late 80's early 90's. I was even sucked into buying one. I hated that car! :lol

I wasn’t too impressed with my Allante at all. Obviously I liked it when I first bought it but that like quickly turned to disgust. That car just sucked. All parts had to be imported from Italy even for the most minor things and whoever designed the motorized locking rag top was on crack! :cuss
It was peppy though. :yesnod
Sal Collaziano 02-13-2003, 06:08 PM Hmm. I guess I forgot the URL. Here's another one: http://www.allante.com/home.html
Me likey!:yesnod

snide 02-17-2003, 08:52 PM Nice. I just hope that the XLR sales figures don't follow the T-Bird sales...

Fozzy_Bear 03-04-2003, 04:33 PM Wow. That means an XLR goes from 0 - GONE in 8.5 seconds.
