Backup light bulb changing

Trying to find out how to change a backup light bulb. Should note be difficult, but it seems like it is.

It isn't difficult, but it does take time.

Roughly:
  • Open deck lid (trunk).
  • Remove big trim pad on underside (roof up), you need a helper, not heavy but awkward. The 'trunk close' switch pops out. I have an idea you have to remove the bracket too, I forget.
  • Undo the few nuts holding the lamp assembly into the deck lid (IIRC 10mm)
  • Stand on a step ladder and gently lift the whole assembly up, there is enough spare in the loom to allow for this
  • Rotate assembly so you can see the back of it
  • Change lamp
  • Refit everything in reverse order.
