Question Need advice stuck CD in 2008 xlr

I see some pricey stories so was trying to avoid that. I tried to eject a CD and i get a CD ERROR but nothing comes out. I did see information that one person had posted that they had instructions and pics to help resolve this with the right tools in 15 mins.
Please any help is appreciated.

I have never had a stuck CD. But, if I did, I'd start by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. The cd player goes through an initialization procedure when it has been unplugged and reconnected, so I'd expect it to do the same after the battery is reconnected.

Stuck cd

Happened to me too. Unfortunately mine went to the dealer who sent it to my extended warranty company to refurbish : it would have cost me over a grand if I had to pay for it. I'd be interested to hear how you resolve it.

I apologize for any frustration caused by the CD issue. People who prefer to work on their own vehicles is certainly understandable. However, if you have the dealership look at it, please let us know. If you send a PM, please include your VIN#, name, situation, contact information, dealership name, and current vehicle mileage. A case will then be set up with GM. Thank you and I hope this is resolved quickly for everyone.

Maybe this is a good excuse to upgrade to the iPod adapter?
